Gastro Boof is True Organics’ latest breeding project, debuting as live rosin in September 2026.

Back in 2024, we took Super Boof - a longtime fan-favorite from Ice Kream Hash Co - and crossed it with Elysian Selections’ cut of Compound Genetics’ Gastro Pop - a fan-favorite cut exclusive to True Organics. Sometimes you run a breeding project that results in so many special phenos that it’s hard to pick just one winner… this was one of those occasions.

Gastro Boof Donor : Super Boof. Bright citrus, sour fruit, smooth cherries, and creamy cookies dominate this Mobile Jay cut of Blockhead Buds’ Blockberry.

Gastro Boof Receiver : Gastro Pop. Sweet grape soda, berry candy, apple so tart it’s almost acrid, and gas define the Elysian Selections cut of Compound Genetics’ cross of Apples & Bananas x Grape Gas.

The resulting dual purpose Gastro Boof blends these fruit notes wonderfully and provides the cheerful euphoric effects of Super Boof with the mind massaging, mentally uplifting effects of Gastro Pop. A compact, dense cultivar with heavily stacked purple and pink calyxes, tight nodal spacing, and large conical colas that are slightly foxtailed, her beauty matches her flavors and effects.

For this inauguratory release, we grew the Gastro Boof in our organic, living soil beds, which are free from pesticides, synthetics, chemicals, toxins, and corporate greed. Once harvested, the flower was immediately frozen and transported to Ice Kream Hash Co, where they transformed the flower into liquid gold one trichome head at a time. “If an orange tasted like purple” is how they describe the Gastro Boof live rosin. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
